 The eyes are glazed. The movements are jerky and chaotic. They're laughing but it's the manic kind that's three seconds from crying. They've been in a loud place, a bright place, a crowded place, or they've just had too much of everything all day and their nervous system has hit the wall. Overstimulation isn't too much energy.
